Lynn Markel, executive vice president, finance and administration, Koch Industries; and Betty Vlamis, executive vice president, Pioneer Balloon Co. Markel and Ast are WSU alumni. The remaining committee members are from WSU: Jeff Bryant, assistant professor, accountancy; Susan Cherches, director, Center for Management Development; Mohammad Dadashzadeh, associate professor of management information systems; Randy Ellsworth, professor and associate dean, College of Education; Manoj Gupta, associate professor and chair, management; Phil Hersch, professor, economics; Charles Martin, professor, marketing and entrepreneurship; and student Collin Stieben. The committee expects to have its first meeting this month, according to Gupta, who will convene the committee. — Amy Geiszler-Jones
