Holiday brunch, Musical Potpourri times to say farewell

With their term as president and first lady winding down, Gene and Margaret Ann Hughes have planned two events where they hope to be able to say goodbye in person.

Employee Holiday Brunch: 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, Rhatigan Student Center ballroom. Enjoy this holiday celebration with good friends, good food and good conversation, and wish the Hugheses good luck in future endeavors.

A Musical Potpourri: Wednesday, Dec. 9, Metropolitan Complex. Reception is at 6:30 p.m., show begins at 7:15 p.m. WSU’s Jazz Arts I will play at the reception. Performers during the show include WSU’s Symphonic Band, carolers from the Concert Chorale, Steel Pan Orchestra, Wayne Bryan, Tony Gowin and Johnny Western. An adult guest is welcome to accompany each employee.
