Second Stage theater series opens its season with "The Glass
Menagerie" at 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Oct. 25-27, and
2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28. Performances are in the Welsbacher Theatre

WSU Libraries celebrate two federal programs
The
WSU Libraries will celebrate 100 years of participation in the Federal
Depository Library Program of the U.S. Government Printing Office
and 10 years as a patent and trademark depository library of the
U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
New
lecture series starts next year
The
Division of Academic Affairs and Research has established the Wichita
Lyceum, a distinguished scholar lecture series, with plans for the
first scholar to be on campus next year.
Alum
wins BOT award

be honored Friday, Nov. 2, at the Presidents Club Gala. The
annual event at the Wichita Marriott is hosted by WSU President
Don and first lady Shirley Beggs and sponsored by the WSU Foundation.

Amy Goeser is postponing her Nov. 3 Faculty Artist Series recital.
The recital has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 9,
in Wiedemann Hall.
