Helen B. Knapp, 86, formerly of Wichita, died Oct. 12. Her service was Oct. 17 in Randolph, Ohio. Mrs. Knapp had been a transcript clerk in the registrar’s office from 1961 until 1981. She most recently was a resident of Powder Springs, Ga. Among her survivors are son Robert, associate professor emeritus of psychology, of Wichita, and daughters Barbara Knapp Adolph of Lake Elizabeth, Calif., Mary Jo Mandel of Palmdale, Calif., and Jacquelyn Talley of Powder Springs. A memorial has been established through the Christopher Knapp Memorial Fund, named in honor of her grandson who preceded her in death, at the WSU Foundation.
