Mama Mia returns for CUW bash

By Carmen Hytche

The annual Council of University Women Scholarship Bash is Wednesday, April 11, in the Rhatigan Student Center ballroom from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.

Maria Russell from biological sciences reprises her role as Mama Mia to help CUW raise money for scholarships. Mama Mia first helped CUW in its efforts in 1996.

The bash offers food, fun and great prizes with the silent bid auction, a used book sale, the Night on the Town raffle, and the 50/50 hat.

Tickets for the 50/50 hat and Night on the Town are four for $5. The winner of the Night on the Town will receive a special evening out. Funds raised from the 50/50 hat are split between one lucky winner and CUW.

Mama Mia says, "Come! Eat!" She is preparing a wonderful pasta buffet with fettuccine and rotini pastas, meatless alfredo and marinara meat sauce, tossed garden salad, garlic bread and drink. Lunch tickets are only $6.50 or get the Mama Mia pasta deal for $10. The pasta deal includes lunch and two 50/50 hat tickets and two Night on the Town tickets.

CUW members are selling tickets now. For more in formation call 978-3142.
