A message from the president...
Dear Faculty and Staff,
In the course of the year I receive many compliments in recognition of the work you do. Last month we hosted a Kansas Board of Regents meeting. I know it took a tremendous amount of effort and teamwork to prepare for the three-day visit. Your efforts made that event a resounding success and gave our visitors a better appreciation of Wichita State University.
Members of the Board of Regents and other guests were full of praise for the job you did. We heard numerous comments on how beautiful the campus looked. The campus tours were greatly appreciated.
The regents were impressed with the efficiency and organization of the meetings and lunches. Guests enjoyed the hospitality room and thought the choice and taste of the foods were excellent.
Our guests enjoyed meeting the faculty and staff who drove them from place to place during their visit and the students who assisted in the Rhatigan Student Center. We were complimented on our efficiency and ability to work with the schedules of each individual guest.
Finally, many compliments were received about our friendly and courteous faculty and staff.
Thanks again for making the event successful and for being great representatives of Wichita State. Thanks, too, for making a difference in the lives of our students each and every day.
