A Shockin' good time
Amanda Erwin, a member of the Shocker Ambassador Society, gets ready to show some Shocker spirit during “High School Hoopla: Rockin’ and Shockin’ in the Roundhouse,” an event hosted by the Office of Admissions. More than 150 Wichita-area high school students, teachers and counselors attended the Feb. 18 event, which combined recruiting and pre-game fun. The students, like this group from Wichita West High, tried to outdo each other during a spirit contest that preceded the Shocker men’s basketball game.
