Boeing exec is next alumni speaker

Jeff Turner, the vice president and manager of Kansas' largest employer, is the next speaker in WSU's Distinguished Alumni Speaker Breakfast Series.

Turner, who heads Boeing Commercial Airplane Group-Wichita, will talk about the challenges leaders have had to face regarding work in the 21st century at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, at Traditions Cafe.

Turner began his career at Boeing Airplane Co. as a part-time programmer in 1973. He earned his WSU degrees in 1973 and 1977.

The WSU Alumni Association sponsors the breakfast series. The cost is $15 per person; $7 for WSU students. For reservations, call 978-3874 by Monday, Jan. 10.
