Passage 2 Success (P2S) is a week-long retreat for incoming freshmen from diverse backgrounds to help in
their transition to Wichita State University! The purpose of this retreat is to connect with other incoming students, meet current student leaders, explore Wichita and gain the skills and tools to be socially and academically successful.
This program will be hosted the week before classes begin, with the option of early
move-in for those living on campus.
Dates: August 11-15, 2024

Earn College Credit
...as easy as 1-2-3!
Not only does Passage 2 Success introduce you to the available resources on campus,
you will be enrolled into Ready, Set, Lead!1, a three-credit hour college course connected to the program. This course is an introduction
to core skills needed to be a successful leader.
In this course, students will explore aspects of critical thinking, financial literacy,
problem solving, professionalism and leadership through application of training, engagement
and real-world experiences. This course is included at no cost when you register for Passage 2 Success.
Registration Fee and Deadline
Registration for Passage 2 Success is $75.2 Payment for this program will be collected when you register. The priority registration
deadline is Friday, June 7 and space is limited. Registration will remain open until
the end of the day on Friday, July 26. Registration for this program will open on March 1, 2024.
The program fee includes all associated costs for Passage 2 Success. Students participating
in Passage 2 Success must have completed Freshman Orientation3 prior to attending Passage 2 Success.
Cancellation & Refund Details:
If you are no longer able to attend Passage 2 Success, please contact Caitlin Nolen,
P2S Program Coordinator by emailing caitlin.nolen@wichita.edu. Please include your name, myWSU ID and order number (if applicable). Cancellation
requests prior to Friday, July 26 will receive a partial refund of $37. No refunds will be issued after Friday, July 26.

Sometimes it is better to know everything that is happening in a program. Below is
a schedule at a glance of some of the activities that will be provided through Passage
2 Success. Activities will be conducted throughout the day, which starts in the morning
and goes throughout the evening. We suggest that you avoid conflicts throughout the
week, such as appointments, orientation, and work. These events are subject to change

1 Ready, Set, Lead! is a three-credit hour college course connected to Passage 2 Success. This course
is included at no cost when students register for this program. A fee may show up on your Student Account
Suite; however, a scholarship will be applied onto your account to cover the cost
for this course. In addition, full participation is required for Passage 2 Success.
Students are subject to incur additional fees associated with this college course.
