- The College of Health Professions features the only physician-assistant program in Kansas and the only dental-hygiene program at a state university.
Thousands of dollars in scholarships are awarded annually to qualified students. - The College is two-time winner of the Commitment to Quality Award from the Kansas Award for Excellence.
- In 2005, the college opened the newly renovated Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation Dental Hygiene Clinic, which includes 24 operatories, a new dispensary and reception area, five remodeled radiology areas, and an infection control center.
