DESCRIPTION:Location: Duerksen Fine Arts Center, Miller Concert Hall\n\nThe WSU College of Fine Arts Institute St. Petersburg International Music Academy will host a Suprima Chamber Orchestra concert on Oct. 23, 2012 in Miller Concert Hall.\n  \nThe Suprima Chamber Orchestra is the only student group from the United States invited to play at the 12th International Conservatory Week Festival dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the St. Petersburg Conservatory in Russia (http://conservatory.ru/week12).\n\nThe Suprima Chamber Orchestra consists of students from WSU and the Wichita area under the leadership of the St. Petersburg String Quartet. The St. Petersburg Quartet is one of the world's most esteemed chamber ensembles. Appointed the inaugural Quartet in Residence at Wichita State University, the quartet includes Alla Aranovskaya, violin; Evgeny Zvonnikov, violin; Boris Vayner, viola; and Leonid Shukaev, cello.   \n\nTickets for this event are $7 with discounts available.
