DESCRIPTION:Location: Wiedemann Hall\n\nOriginally from Indiana, this wonderful musician has been with Wichita State University since 1986.  Professor Black holds degrees from Ball State University and the University of New Mexico. He has been the principal tubist for the Wichita Symphony Orchestra since coming to WSU and he is also a member of the Wichita Brass Quintet. Professor Black is a noted teacher and performer who has been featured in numerous regional Tuba and Euphonium Conferences throughout the United States. He has been a reviewer for the "new materials" section of the International Tuba/Euphonium Journal since 2001.
