DESCRIPTION:Location: Wiedemann Hall\n\nOnce again, the organ class of WSU and professor Lynne Davis welcome you to attend the annual Organ Day. We will gather around the world-famous Danish Marcussen organ which celebrates its 26th anniversary this year to discover this "King of Instruments." Following a brief demonstration of the organ's sounds by Lynne Davis, all pianists and organists -- young and old -- will be welcome to play this one-man orchestra!  Bring your favorite piano or organ piece (Bach always sounds good here). Attendees will also be able to learn how this tremendous instrument works by touring the inside of the organ case! Finally, we will close with an informal concert by all those who wish to play, including the School of Music organ students. Be sure and purchase the newly-released CD, “Lynne Davis at the Marcussen Organ in Wiedemann Hall."
