DESCRIPTION:Location: Wiedemann Hall\n\nTenor Randolph Lacy is noted for the lyrical beauty of his voice and his ability to interpret musical texts with intelligence and sensitivity. In recent years, he has performed with: the Orquesta Sinfonica de Mineria (in Mexico City); Boulder Philharmonic; Fresno Philharmonic; Sacramento Ballet; Houston Bach Society; and the New York Baroque Dance Company, among numerous others. In the summer of 2008, he co-starred with Neale Donald Walsch (author of the trilogy "Conversations with God") in a California tour of a new musical entitled "Onebody" by James Coventry.\n \nRandolph holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts Degree from the University of Houston, and Master and Bachelor Degrees in Music from Rice University. His training also included Fellowships to the Boston Symphony's Tanglewood Music Center, the Aspen Music Festival, the Glimmerglass Opera in Cooperstown New York, and Italian language study at the Universita per Stranieri in Siena, Italy.\n\nTickets for this event are available by calling The WSU Fine Arts Box Office at (316) 978-3233.
