Join Career Services for a fun, informative, event-themed job listing for students to find on the Hire-a-Shocker website. Once students verify that they have viewed the listing, they will receive a prize. Verification will be one of two forms: pull up the job on Hire-a-Shocker in person or bring in a hard copy of the first page of the job listing to 203 Grace Wilkie Hall.

Service in the City: Kits for Kids

Help us put together "Kits for Kids" science projects for the 2013 Interfaith Ministries summer lunch program. This collaboration of the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Civic Engagement will be a great opportunity to give back to the Wichita community.

Students will put together projects for kites, paper airplanes, puppets and ornaments.

5th Annual MLK Unity Walk

The MLK Unity Walk is aimed at remembering and continuing Dr. Martin Luther King's legacy. The candlelight procession will begin at 5 p.m. outside of the Heskett Center and will conclude at the Plaza of Heroines.

Getting Rowdy with Campus Recreation
Location: Heskett Center

Join Campus Recreation for a variety of fun events and activities meant to highlight their different programs and services.

The event will include: Shocker fitness class demonstrations, climbing wall competitions, an H20 Bootcamp in the Weidmann Natatorium, a Shocker Rowing ERG competition, challenging and fun activities on the track and basketball courts and an employment table with the SHOX Recreation staff to answer your questions.

There will be prizes, food and much more! This event is meant to inform and educate the WSU campus community about the exciting recreation, fitness and wellness activities supported through Campus Recreation.
