All undergraduate students will be able to vote on their top King and Queen candidates for Homecoming Royalty Court. Every undergraduate student will be allowed to vote once per day online at the myWSU portal at the tables during the event or on their personal computers.

International Type ThrowDown
Location: Ulrich Museum of Art, Wichita State University
In this graphic design contest, students from around the world battle for votes with designs for four non-Latin alphabet letters. Vote online at typethrowdown.wordpress.com. Final voting rounds take place live at the Ulrich Museum in January and February.

Extended Learning Session: Funding and Fundraising

Student organizations are often limited by their ability to generate revenue for basic expenses and manage funds for the organizations. This working seminar will help student develop operational budgets for their organization and understand some financial "Best Practices." The session will also include training on SGA funding applications and fundraising.

Current Wichita State students can pick up free tickets with a valid Shocker ID card at the University Bookstore, Heskett Center or at the ticket office in Charles Koch Arena.

Astronomy: Discovering Stellar Secrets2-day event: 1/31/2014 - 2/1/2014
Location: Lake Afton Observatory
Have you ever wondered how astronomers find out how hot, massive or big a star is or what it is made of? Visit the Observatory to look through the big telescope at a gas giant planet, the spectrum of a bright star, a multiple star system, clusters of stars and glowing clouds of gas as we discuss how the secrets of stars are revealed.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 6-12. Children under 6 are admitted free. Special family rate is $15.00 for two parents and their immediate minor children or grandchildren.
