Free Concert: Wednesdays In Wiedemann with Lynne Davis
Location: Wiedemann Hall

You are invited to spend a thrilling hour with Professor Lynne Davis and "The Great Marcussen Organ." Professor Davis is a noted teacher and in 1994 became the only woman and first American to earn the French "Certificat d'Aptitude de Professeur d'Orgue." In January 2012, she was awarded a major distinction given by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication: "Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres." She is a leading international concert organist who created the Wednesdays in Wiedemann series at WSU in 2007. What better way to unwind after a stressful day than by attending an excellent free concert?

Noncredit Class: Advanced Grant Writing for the Not-for-Profit Community
Location: Hughes Metropolitan Complex, 29th Street at Oliver

In this advanced offering participants will be asked to produce an actual grant. The instructor will provide the client. We will write an actual grant for a real 501 (c)3 organization. It may be helpful to have attended a previous class offering; however, it is not a requirement. Each participant must email the instructor prior to class to obtain material. The instructors email will be provided with your confirmation. Class meets Wednesdays through Oct. 24.
