WSU Concert Band and Jazz Arts CombosThe WSU Concert Band is excited to be back together for another year of great recitals. They will start the evening off with an array of emotionally charged works that will feature Ticheli's "Vesuvius" and Sousa's favorite encore "Roosters Lay Eggs in Kansas!" And then we're going to shake things up when several WSU Student Jazz Combos take the stage to perform just for you! This is entertainment that we usually reserve for The Wichita Jazz Festival in April, but not this year! Things are staying hot in Wichita this fall, so come out and see what it's about. Tickets for this event go on sale Sept. 21 and they are $7 with discounts available. Location: Miller Concert Hall For more information, call The WSU Fine Arts Box Office at (316)978-3233. Open to the public. Sponsored By: The WSU School of Music
