Mainstage Theatre Presents: The Learned Ladies
Location: Wilner Auditorium

Moliere's comedy, which takes a look at academic pretention, focuses on the lives of a group of "learned ladies" and their insatiable obsession for learning and high-brow culture of the conceited kind. The women attempt to advance themselves in every possible way, including housing a pretentious poet to be the centerpiece of their academic salon. Mix in a love triangle, a weak-minded husband, and a grammatically incorrect housemaid and you have one of Moliere's most-beloved comedy of manners. Directed by Dr. Bret Jones.

Tickets for this event are $10 with discounts available and go on sale Sept. 19. For more information, call the WSU Fine Arts Box Office at 316-978-3233.
