Youth Outreach: Heartland Choral Festival
The WSU School of Music is pleased to join with the Wichita Chamber Chorale to offer The Heartland Choral Festival. This two-day event offers area high school students guided practice on All-State audition music. The festival takes place on The WSU Campus with a final performance in Wiedemann Hall. The schedule is posted on the WSU Choral Webpage - www.wichita.edu/choirs

The registration fee is $25 per high school and $10 per student.

Remembrance Ceremony: Observance of Memorial '70
In an annual ceremony of remembrance, a wreath is placed at Wichita State's Memorial '70 at 9 a.m. each Oct. 2. The brief ceremony honors WSU football players, administrators and supporters who died in a plane crash Oct. 2, 1970.

The plane crashed near Silver Plume, Colo. en route to a game with Utah State University in Logan, Utah.

A continental breakfast will be held following the ceremony in the SASO room at Charles Koch Arena.
