Exhibit: Astronomy Day
To celebrate Astronomy Day, the Lake Afton Public Observatory will be having an afternoon of fun, interesting and educational activities and contests (with prizes!)

As it gets dark, we will observe the Moon, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune through our 16-inch telescope as we discuss the wondrous discoveries made by unmanned probes in the last 50 years.

Admission for Astronomy Day will be only $3 for adults and $2 for children 6-12.

Theatre Mainstage Series Presents: Medea
3-day event: 10/22/2009 - 10/24/2009
WSU director Bret Jones brings you Euripides' "Medea", the classic Greek play based on the myth of Jason of the Argonauts and his wife Medea. The story is of Medea's revenge against her husband who is abandoning her and her children for another woman. The dramatic ending is still a subject of discussion and conflict for play-goers today. Rated PG-13.

Tickets for this event go on sale Oct. 1 and are $10 with discounts available.
