Have you been rockin' the ear buds a bit much lately, or do you turn up the volume on your favorite show to hear it better?

Visit Wichita State University's Evelyn Hendren Cassat Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic on free hearing screening days - Mondays in October (7, 14, 21 and 28). Appointments are open to the general public and available from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. and 1 - 4:30 p.m.

Current WSU faculty/staff/students are eligible for a free full hearing evaluation throughout the year and a 10% discount on hearing aids. The clinic also offers affordable hearing evaluation services, hearing aids and more to the general public. Feel free to ask for details.

Student Organization Development Program
Location: 266 Rhatigan Student Center

Student organizations and their leaders face a constantly evolving list of challenges to success and development. This program is a leadership program geared towards developing organizations and their leaders to better prepare them for success.

The program will require organization representatives to attend at least 80% of the seminars and complete a follow up project to be submitted to Student Involvement and presented to their organization.

Seminars will include:
- True Colors
- Organization Finance
- Emotional Intelligence
- Recruitment
- Motivating the Middle
- Branding and Leadership Styles

WSU Concert Chorale and A Cappella Choir Fall concert: Inspiration and Dance
Location: Wiedemann Hall

Two Wichita State University choirs, Concert Chorale and A Cappella Choir, kick off their performance calendar with an eclectic program that explores the ideas of inspiration and dance. Concert Chorale delves into the topic of inspiration, performing works inspired by events, places, objects and feelings. A Cappella Choir "dances" its way into the fall concert with a musical experience in world culture that features folk songs from Africa, Russia, Israel, Romania and Appalachia.
