Workshop: Beginning QuickBooks
QuickBooks software can help you manage your business finances if you know how to use it correctly. Our instructors are certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors. This is not a hands-on seminar, it is better. This beginners class will show you how to set up QuickBooks properly. Instructors will cover screen overview, how to process accounts receivable and payable and banking.

Robotics continues to improve the quality of our lives with recent advancesin medical practice. An advanced robot that treats cancerous tumors, the CyberKnife is an excellent example. Dr. Joseph Kelley, Via Christi Cancer Center radiation oncologist, explains how this extraordinary technology makes it possible for cancer patients to return to full health.

This event is in conjunction with "Robots: A Cultural Icon in Contemporary Art," on view through Dec. 18. Fifteen artists explore society's fear and fascination with robots as they evolve from science fiction to modern reality.

Anti-Hate and Respect Week: Sylvia Guerrero: The Gwen Araujo Story
In October 2002 Gwen Araujo was brutally bludgeoned and strangled to death by three men. It appeared that they had become enraged by discovering that Gwen was biologically male. Her mother relates the story of Gwen's life, death and the murder trial.

WSU Symphony Orchestra Halloween Pops Concert
The WSU Symphony Orchestra will chill you with the horrific sounds of Mussorgsky's "Night on Bald Mountain" and Grieg's "In the Hall of the Mountain King" and then thrill you with the themes from "The Rocketeer" and "Star Wars!" This is quickly becoming the area's favorite concert of the season not only because of the awesome music but also because the entire orchestra plays IN COSTUME! Come out and see what the Bass Section will be wearing and hear some fantastic music.
