All Day 17th Annual Elements Multi-Media Art Competition
12-day event: 11/9/2009 - 11/20/2009
Participate in the annual Elements Multimedia Arts Competition for a chance to win cash prizes. Categories include: painting, drawing, ceramics, sculpture and mixed media. Students need not be art majors. Applications can be found at www.wichita.edu/SAC or in room 219 of the RSC.

Application Deadline: Wednesday, Nov. 4 by 5:00 p.m.
$5 entry fee

Participants only have to swim once for each event. A person may enter in as many different events as they want. However, a person can only swim on one relay team. Heats will be posted on Wednesday, Nov. 11. Please be ready to swim by 7:30 p.m. We will run each heat one after another until we are finished. The event should be completed by 9:30 p.m.

Rie Bloomfield Organ Series presents: Anna Myeong
Anna Myeong is organist at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mission, Kan. A native of Korea, Ms. Myeong earned her Bachelor of Music at Yonsei University in Seoul. She then moved to Kansas City and earned her Master of Music degree with honors in 2005. In 2006 she attended an organ interpretation course in Romainmotier, Switzerland and had the opportunity to study with Marie-Claire Alain and Guy Bovet. Ms. Myeong has given numerous recitals in North America and Europe, including programs at the Washington National Cathedral, Harvard University's Adolphus Busch Hall and Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris and she was a featured artist at this year's American Guild of Organists Convention in Wichita.

Ticket for this event go on sale Oct. 21 and they are $10 with discounts available.
