Written by Milta Ortiz, an MFA Candidate at Northwestern University, Fleeing Blue is an exploration of the effects of war, politics and paranoia on relationships shared by a group of people who practice arts, academics and cruelty. (Rating PG13)

WSU Percussion Ensemble
Location: Duerksen Fine Arts Center, Miller Concert Hall

WSU professor Jerry Scholl and the award-winning "Impulse Percussion Group" will be joined by the Wichita Symphony Orchestra's percussion section premiering a brand new version of Rimsky-Korsakovs's "Scheherazade." The "IMP" will also feature music by Darius Milhaud, Tom Gauger and Bob Becker. WSU's illustrious Steel Band will also perform with their new director Luc Brust!
