Community: Launching Your Business
Location: Devlin Hall

Launching Your Business is an entrepreneurship training program designed to explore the potential of your business idea. Before you quit your job or invest your life savings, wouldn’t it be nice to know whether your idea has value? Program is offered every Tuesday evening from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. All materials and refreshments are provided. Payments can be made towards the tuition over the 10 weeks.

We invite you to attend the uniquely designed program to encourage business owners to take steps towards refining their business processes! Discover answers to your questions and shape your success in business. Program is offered every Tuesday evening from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Payments can be made towards the tuition over the 9 weeks. Faculty Artist Series presents Phillip Black, Tuba
Location: Wiedemann Hall

Originally from Indiana, this wonderful musician has been with Wichita State University since 1986. Professor Black holds degrees from Ball State University and the University of New Mexico. He has been the principal tubist for the Wichita Symphony Orchestra since coming to WSU and he is also a member of the Wichita Brass Quintet. Professor Black is a noted teacher and performer who has been featured in numerous regional Tuba and Euphonium Conferences throughout the United States. He has been a reviewer for the "new materials" section of the International Tuba/Euphonium Journal since 2001. He can be heard performing with the Galliard Brass Ensemble on recordings from the Music Heritage Society Label.
