Faculty Artist Series: Wichita Piano Trio
Location: Wiedemann Hall

Come out to Wiedemann Hall and support the Wichita Piano Trio! The group was formed in 2012, and their program this year includes piano trios by Beethoven, Schubert and Shostakovich. The trio members are all faculty members of Wichita State University.

Pianist Julie Bees joined the WSU piano faculty in 1986. She performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician, here and abroad. Cellist Leonid Shukaev joined the WSU string faculty in 2010. He is also a member of the St. Petersburg String Quartet, Quartet-in-Residence at Wichita State University. Violinist Evgeny Zvonnikov, the youngest member of the group, joined the St. Petersburg String Quartet in 2011 and is an adjunct violin professor at WSU.

Tickets go on sale Feb. 5, 2013 and can be purchased for $7.
