WSU Jazz Combos
Location: Duerksen Fine Arts Center, Miller Concert Hall

Join us for a concert by the WSU Jazz Combos. The program will include a variety of styles and ensembles. The UltraSound Sextet operates in the mainstream and features two guitars, saxophone and rhythm section. They have chosen to play Cedar Walton's, "Bolivia," "Eternal Triangle" and "Beautiful Love." The colorful music of the Luna Copii Quintet is closer to the avant-garde and employs guitar, saxophone and violin, much like the classic John Handy Quintets. They will play two of their original compositions, "Apogee in Tamil" and "Enzyme Denature." In addition, various students from the WSU Jazz Studies Program will be performing in swinging duos and trios with their interpretations of jazz standards.

Tickets for this event are $7 with discounts available.
Tickets go on sale March 13.
