Community Service Immersion Trip

This semester, students, staff and faculty will participate in an immersion trip to re-build a playground for an underdeveloped community in KS. Volunteers will be involved in all aspects of the project, from the design, construction and landscaping. To RSVP, visit www.wichita.edu/involvement

Juvenile In Justice Teen Day: Tees for Teens
Location: Ulrich Museum of Art
Cost: Free

View inspiring T-shirt designs by Wichita youth, then learn how to silkscreen your own shirts with help from the WSU printmaking guild, Tornado Alley Press. This program is suitable for pre-teens and teens ages 11 to 18, and is a supporting program of the Ulrich Museum of Art traveling exhibition Juvenile In Justice: Photographs by Richard Ross.

Astronomy: Worlds of Science and Imagination
2-day event: 4/4/2014 - 4/5/2014
Location: Lake Afton Observatory

Visitors will use the Observatory's 16-inch telescope to look at the Moon, Mars, Jupiter or Saturn and a multiple star system as Observatory staff discusses the science and the fiction surrounding them. For a full schedule of events, please visit http://www.wichita.edu/j/?2864

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 6-12. Children under 6 are admitted free. Special family rate is $15.00 for two parents and their immediate minor children or grandchildren.
