Workshop: So, you want to open a restaurant.
Location: WSU Hughes Metro Complex, Entrance B
At this workshop, current and future business owners will learn what they need to consider when starting a restaurant, including trends in the industry and how to gain financing. Restaurant owner and WSU Kansas Small Business Development Center Consultant Steve Nussbaum will share ideas from his experience. Serving as a small business consultant for over seven years, Steve supported the planning of several local restaurants in Wichita and Texas. He currently owns and operates Charley's Philly Steak restaurant in Towne East Mall.

SCAVENGER HUNT: The Amusing Race
Location: WSU Campus
Race day registration will take place at KMUW (3317 E. 17th St) at 3 p.m.
Race begins at 4 p.m. A pizza dinner will be served for participants at 5:30 p.m.
Solve riddles as you race around the Wichita State campus, where teams of four will compete for goodies and prizes in the Amusing Race! To get the next clue and continue the race, teams must complete a series of creative challenges at each stop along the way. Additional prizes for best team name and team costumes.
Registration is $8.91 per four-person team and FREE for student members of both KMUW Stubblefield Society and Ulrich Museum of Art.
