WSU Jazz Arts I will start off their season with a concert full of standards and swing as they welcome their new director Professor Bill Caldwell. Professor Caldwell has long been present in the local jazz scene as a saxophonist and teacher and he is excited to show the Wichita area where he's taking the WSU Jazz Program.The Concert will also feature a special showing of WSU Student Jazz Combos who will perform standards as well as their own compositions. This is an excellent way to see how the Jazz Studies program is taking off, catch some amazing student performers and strech your knowledge of great jazz.
