Location: McKinley Hall, Room 224 Dr. Rong Li is an investigator for the Stowers Institute for Medical Research and is a professor in the department of molecular and integrative physiology at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. In the Li lab, researchers strive to understand the fundamental laws governing the behavior and interactions of cellular systems. Their current work focuses on questions pertaining to the molecular and physical basis of self-organization during morphogenesis, and the evolutionary dynamics of cell division pathways. They also work toward applying insights learned from basic research to the understanding and cure of diseases such as cancer and polycystic kidney disease. For more information, call (316) 978-3120 or email david.eichhorn@wichita.edu.Open to the public.Sponsored by Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Department of Chemistry, and Watkins FundFind McKinley Hall on map
