Opera and Musical Theatre Series presents Guys and Dolls

Event Date:Sunday, November 10, 2013
Event Time:2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Location: Wilner Auditorium

Set in Damion Runyon's mythical New York City, this classic musical has been a favorite of audiences since it opened on Broadway in 1950. With an immortal score by Frank Loesser and Abe Burrows and Jo Swerling's fast-paced book, this romantic comedy is considered the perfect musical comedy by many.

The legendary characters include: Sarah Brown, the uptight "mission doll," set out to reform Sky Masterson; the high-rolling gambler and Adelaide; the long suffering fiancé of Nathan Detroit; and an ensemble of other engaging characters who inhabit this world from Times Square to the cafes of Havana to the sewers of New York.

The show will be directed by Music Theatre of Wichita's Artistic Producing Director Wayne Bryan.
