Join the Office of Multicultural Affairs as we hear Robert E. Weems, Jr., the Willard W. Garvey Distinguished Professor of Business History at Wichita State University, discuss the business, economic, and social dynamics of the 1970s "Blaxploitation" film genre.

We will also be viewing the 1971 "Blaxploitation" film "Shaft" directed by the famous native Kansan, Gordon Parks, whose papers are housed in WSU's Ablah Library.
