Maple Grove Cemetery, 1000 N. Hillside (northeast corner of 9th and Hillside)A tremendous impact was made on Maple Grove Cemetery at the first CLUR Service Day on Monday, Oct. 17, 2011. Section F was the focus of our efforts, which is the final resting place for President Morrison. In Maple Grove Part I we addressed the portion of section F south of Morrison s stone. Even though a tremendous impact was made, there is still more work do to. On Monday, May 7, the area north of Morrison stone in section F will be addressed.The more the merrier but at least 15 volunteers, in work ready apparel, would be appreciated. All participants must wear closed toe shoes, long pants and a long sleeve shirt is recommended. In October individuals did encounter patches of poison ivy.We have some tools that are available, but if you have some that may be of use, please bring them along.
