 |  | What is an Authorized User?
Students can give others (parents, employers, etc.) the ability to access their account information. In compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA), their student financial records may not be shared with a third party without their written consent. Adding an authorized user is their written consent that an individual may view their account information and make payments on their behalf. Please note that authorized users DO NOT have access to their student's stored payment methods, academic records, or other personal information. Students can set up an Authorized User in the Student Account Suite.
