Title: “The Last Animal Painting
My work explores the variety of interactions that take place between humans and animals. Animals today are either someone’s property, part of a spectacle, test subjects, or raised for slaughtering. Animals in the wild become more rare everyday. Those remaining find it increasingly difficult to survive. Less land means less resource. Less resource means more competition, which means diminishing populations. Who will be the last man standing in this ongoing struggle?
