Would you like to better understand what it is like to be deaf and what it takes to learn American Sign Language? Lorita Slieter, professor in Deaf Studies at WSU, and Rick Latiwa, former president of the Wichita Association for the Deaf, will explain the deaf perspective and explore ASL as a way of communication. This will be a wonderful opportunity to have all your questions answered about ASL.
