Spring 2011 Career FairThursday, April 7, 4:00-7:00 p.m.Koch ArenaBusiness/Engineering/Liberal Arts & SciencesRecruiters from 44 organizations will be in attendance. Twenty-eight have specifically expressed interest in business majors; an additional twelve consider all majors. Job types specifically mentioned include sales, accounting, marketing, buyer, MIS, analyst, financial planning, office manager and management trainee. Students may log in to Hire-a-Shocker to search for employers seeking business majors and to peruse their websites before attending the fair.The Career Fair provides an opportunity for graduating students to meet employers and ask about employment opportunities. However, all students are invited to the fair to network with recruiters and learn more about career paths. Professional dress is preferred for graduating students; business casual is appropriate for all others. Resumes or business cards are helpful tools.Students are welcome to stop by our office in 203 Grace Wilkie to pick up information on what to do before, during and after a career fair.
