"Fluency Update: What's New in a Nutshell"

This workshop is sponsored by the Wichita State University Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (WSUSSLHA) in celebration of Better Hearing and Speech month. Participants will learn how to improve communication effectiveness and promote the development of self-determined behavior to address the affective, behavioral, and cognitive needs of school-age children who stutter. Participants will also learn how to provide stuttering therapy for school-age children that is educationally relevant that addresses the student's communication needs in academic, nonacademic, and extracurricular settings as mandated by IDEA.
