Walk: Blow the Whistle on Asthma Walk

Location: Ahlberg Hall
The Asthma Walk will begin and end at Ahlberg Hall. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the walk begins at 10 a.m.

All proceeds from the walk go directly to the American Lung Association of Kansas to aid in the fight against lung disease through education, community service, advocacy and research.

The mission of the Lung Association is to prevent lung disease and promote lung health. Nearly two million emergency room visits per year are for asthma attacks. An estimated 31.4 million Americans have been diagnosed with asthma, 40% are children under age 18.
