You are invited to spend a thrilling half-hour with Professor Lynne Davis and the great Marcussen organ in Wiedemann Hall. Professor Davis is a noted teacher and the only woman and first American to earn the French "Certificat d'Aptitude de Professeur d'Orgue in 1994. After spending more than 35 years in France, she was awarded a major distinction given by the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, the "Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres . She is a leading international concert organist who created the Wednesdays in Wiedemann series at WSU in 2007. What better way to unwind after a day's work than by attending an excellent free concert on one of the universities' crown jewels?
