Mainstage Series: The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail

Event Date:Thursday, October 30, 2008
Event Time:7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Henry David Thoreau was a man crying out against the destruction of our environment, unjust taxes, slavery and war when most men just wanted to "get along." This story of one individual against all he believed to be unjust, will have you standing and cheering for a man who lived over 150 years ago in New England. This play definitely "marches to the beat of a different drummer" and at the same time will fill you with the "music" of life.

The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail is by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee.
