Location: Duerksen Fine Arts Center, Miller Concert HallThe WSU Concert Band, under the direction of Dr. Victor Markovich, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 in Miller Concert Hall. Selections will include "Undertow" by John Mackey, "Southern Hymn" by Samuel Hazo, and "Ragged Rozey March" by Karl King. Trent Warbis will be conducting "A Longford Legend: A Collection of Irish Street Ballads" by Robert Sheldon, and Jamie Shepherd will conduct "Fortress Variations" by Tim Waters.The WSU Jazz Combo, under the direction of Craig Owens, will be featured with the Concert Band presenting a guitar trio with Kendall Wohaska, guitar; Seth Carrithers, bass; and Scott Taylor, drums. They will be presenting their renditions of jazz standards along with some original compositions.
