WSU Summer Choir Concert

The WSU Summer Choir presents, "A French Connection." The program includes a wide variety of music which is not sung in French, but has a connection to France. This includes the "Requiem" by composer Gabrielle Faure, which will be accompanied by Professor Lynne Davis on the Marcussen Organ. Other pieces include a medley from "Les Miserables," based on the French revolution; a medley from "South Pacific," whose main character is a Frenchman; and "Give me Your Tired, Your Poor," a tribute to the Statue of Liberty which was donated to the United States by the French government.
