The Wichita State University School of Performing Arts is thrilled to announce that our production of "States of Happiness" has been selected to perform at the Regional Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival in Des Moines, Iowa in January 2018! We will represent Shocker Nation as one of six productions out of a seven state region invited to perform at the Festival.

The School of Performing Arts invites you to join us for this performance of "States of Happiness" before traveling to Des Moines. All proceeds from this performance will go toward students' traveling expenses.

"States of Happiness" is a production designed and produced by WSU students. Winner of the WSU Playwriting Competition, the central character desperately seeks meaning, but doesn't know where to look. She learns of a service that will allow her to do something extraordinary. But through this, she tumbles into an experiment that may have drastic repercussions. Will this actually help her or will it send her further into hopelessness? Rated PG.

Doors open a half hour before show time. Welsbacher Box Office opens one hour prior to show time in the Welsbacher Lobby. Please plan to arrive early to avoid lines. No latecomers will be admitted.
