The Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Department at Wichita State University is committed to experience-based instruction and research in design, analysis and operation of manufacturing and other integrated systems of people, material, equipment and money. We offer two undergraduate programs: Industrial Engineering and Engineering for Manufacture. Both programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. The department also offers three graduate degree programs -- Master of Engineering Management, M.S. in IE, and Ph.D. in IE. Both IE graduate programs allow specialization in manufacturing systems, ergonomics/human factors engineering and engineering systems.
