'Students Come First'

Wichita State University Student Government Association sees our current motto as more then just words on a page. It is at the core of everything we do. SGA enables students to voice their opinions through campus committees and weekly public Senate meetings. SGA sponsors student services ranging from Campus Recreation events and activities to Student Health Services.

SGA awards over $130,000 in grants and scholarships annually to support students in their pursuit of academic excellence. These range from the McNair Graduate Student Scholarship to the HALA Scholarship Award for Community Service. SGA provides funding and support to over 140 student organizations allowing students to further explore their passions. SGA is governed by students and committed to student issues and concerns.
