Research and Technology Transfer
With yearly funding topping more than $50 million in the past year, research at Wichita State University ranges from bioscience, chemistry and engineering to mathematics, physics and ancient civilization. WSU ranks third among all U.S. universities in aeronautical R&D expenditures and first in industry funding for aeronautical R&D.
The Office of Research and Technology Transfer exists to support faculty and staff researchers in streamlining the development and implementation of proposals, grants and contracts. The office is focused on fostering technology transfer by supporting the development of new business ventures, partnerships, patenting and licensing.
