NIAR labs undergo reorganization

The National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State University continues to increase its yearly research funding, announcing a total of $49.4 million in fiscal year 2011.

This is an increase of $5 million over 2010.

However, the culmination of several large federal programs and a shift in the research and testing needs of the aviation industry has led to several organizational changes within NIAR.
